Here is the first attempt of the youth fellowship of Binmaley United Methodist Church (which I pastor) to write a Christian parody. It is more than fine for neophytes.

"All of Me"
(A Christian parody of John Legend's song of the same title.)

What would I do without you in my life
You’re drawing nearer but I’m kicking you out
You pour out Your blessing, never ending, You don’t let me down
What's going on in my stubborn mind
I'm now giving up my life in Your hands
And I'm so guilty, Lord forgive me, this is my cry

My heart I surrender
And in you I trust
Your mercy and love is what I’ve found

'Cause all of me
Loves all of you
Love your Words and all your patience,
Servant-like Sovereign obedience
In Your majesty,
I'll give my all to you
You're the end and the beginning
I exalt Your Supreme Being
So I give you all of me
I worship Your De-i-ty, oh

How many times do I have to fail you
Even when I’m trying, I still hurt you
The world is pulling me down, You’re around to lift my hope
You're my Savior, You're my Lord
Lord of perfection, my Helper and Cord
I can't stop singing, I’m lifting this love song for you

My heart I surrender
And in you I trust
Your mercy and love is what I’ve found

'Cause all of me
Loves all of you
Love your Words and all your patience,
Servant-like Sovereign obedience
In Your majesty,
I'll give my all to you
You're the end and the beginning
I exalt Your Supreme Being
So I give you all of me
I worship Your De-i-ty, oh

Christ, I’m not able, Your grace fills my heart
Praising You with all I have

'Cause all of me
Loves all of you
Love your Words and all your patience,
Servant-like Sovereign obedience
In Your majesty,
I'll give my all to you
You're the end and the beginning
I exalt Your Supreme Being
So I give you all of me
I worship Your De-i-ty, oh
